Tom Raworth

Tom Raworth is the author of over 40 books of poetry, most recently the nearly 600 page Collected Poems (Carcanet 2003). Removed for Further Study, a collection of essays about his work, was published by The Gig in the same year, and his poems, collages, and readings have been discussed in journals including Critical Inquiry and The London Review of Books. Two CDs featuring his reading of selected poems were released by Optic Nerve in 2004.

Raworth was born and grew up in London. During the 1970s he traveled and worked in the United States and Mexico, returning to England in 1977 to be Resident Poet at King’s College, Cambridge, in which city he still lives. More information about Raworth and his work can be found at
