Philanthropy

Zeta Tau Alpha's national philanthropy is breast cancer awareness. For the fall we host a kickball tournament called Kickin' for the Cure. We invite all students and faculty to participate and charge each team an entry fee, which we donate to fighting breast cancer.
We spread awareness also through Think Pink Wear Pink Day. We advertise for this day throughout the month of October and encourage people to wear pink on the chosen day to show their support. We also sit at booths in various locations around campus and pass out information about breast cancer, pink ribbons, and self-mammogram instruction cards.
This year, we've been selling pink sports bras and black boxers, which each bear the phrase Support the Cure. All proceeds beyond the cost of production are donated to our philanthropy.
